Jemma O’Neill
Accounts Assistant
Jemma’s duties include the preparation of your accounts, your VAT returns, and doing the bookkeeping for you so you don’t have to! When she’s not working, Jemma spends her time socialising with friends and spending time with partner Alan, watching any Rangers football that’s on, travelling, or shopping! Jemma stays in Arbroath, is currently studying for her ACCA qualification and has a pet Yorkshire Terrier, Skye; and she gets to and from the office in her Mini!
Kelly Doig
Accounts Assistant
Kelly also prepares client accounts, and she’s responsible for keeping the money laundering records for the firm. She loves the theatre, and has been 10 times to see the musical “Blood Brothers”; and her favourite holidays are when she’s on safari (most recently to Rwanda to see the gorillas). Her favourite pastimes are spending time with her husband Steven and her cat Harry, going to the theatre, and singing karaoke! (Next time you speak to Kelly, ask her to favour you with a tune!)
Anna Edwards
Accounts Assistant
Anna prepares accounts and VAT returns for sole traders and partnerships. She dreams of going to the Bahamas (particularly on cold winter days) and driving around in a Golf R32 (to be specific!). Weekends she spends her time away from Dundee and her favourite time of year is the summer, with its long nights and opportunity for camping and festivals.
Pamela Crombie
Accounts Supervisor / Sales & Marketing
Pam is currently on maternity leave.
Alison Clark
Accounts Supervisor
Alison prepares and reviews accounts as well as looking after the training requirements at Walker Dunnett. She also assists with the firm’s business development work. She stays in nearby Broughty Ferry with her husband Graeme and two children, Robyn and Lewis. She likes spending her time swimming, cycling, and spending time with her family (not necessarily all at the same time)!
Neil Cameron
Accounts Assistant
Neil prepares accounts for small companies, sole traders, and partnerships, as well as preparing VAT returns and income tax computations. He also does bookkeeping for clients and prepares letters and other administrative work for Paola’s department. Neil’s best weekend includes being on the golf course, up the mountain, and in the pub (all in one day preferably). He’s a Rangers supporter and lives in Forfar with his wife Rosa. Neil is also a keen traveller and took a year out back in 2003/04 to travel the world.
Paola Bryce
Accounts Supervisor
Paola supervises a team of three, reviewing accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, and bookkeeping completed by the team. She also deals with client queries, corresponds with the Inland Revenue, meets with clients, and generally ensures that things in the team move along smoothly. She has been with Walker Dunnett for 17 years (the same length of time she has been married incidentally), and has two sons aged 5 and 13, whom she is very proud of. Weekends include tournaments on the Wii and supporting Dundee United.
Danie van Niekerk
Accounts Assistant
Danie is responsible for preparing accounts as well as any computer issues or problems within the firm – any IT-related queries he is well capable of addressing. He also has the pleasure of carrying large boxes to clients’ cars – which serves as training for his weekend rugby games, played every Saturday (followed by a few beers to get the pain away). Danie hails from Cape Town, South Africa, where he goes on holiday to visit family. His advice to all is “Don’t take yourself too seriously.”
Bryan Johnston
Manager
Bryan deals with tax and VAT enquiries, and his time includes meeting with Walker Dunnett clients and ensuring that work on Roger’s team flows smoothly. On the weekends you’ll find him in the pub – or making a few bets!
Emma Ruxton
Accounts Assistant
Emma works on VAT Returns, book-keeping and accounts preparation. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her partner Jay and their two boys - Kai and Joel, and going out with her friends when she gets the opportunity. Emma's celebrity crushes are Patrick Swayze and John Travolta. Her ambition is to appear on Countdown - she has sent off the application form and is waiting for a reply!
