David McFarlane Administration Assistant
David is one of the faces you’ll see behind the front desk at Walker Dunnett – his duties include anything classed as ‘administration’: mailing, filing, recording new client information, processing invoices, ordering stationery, and keeping the supply of chocolates to a reasonable standard. David has a daughter, Anna, whom he spends time with when he’s not working – or else he’s playing football or visiting the pub. David is a Dundee supporter.
Avril Craig Payroll Supervisor
Avril is responsible for administering the payroll function for all clients for the firm. On the weekends, her pastimes include watching her sons play football, socialising, reading, and watching films. Any other spare time is spent cooking or taking part in spinning class at the local gym. Avril stays in Monifieth.
Isla Walker Tax Assistant
Isla has joined the tax team to complete personal tax returns for clients. Qualified as a CA in 1999, she worked as a management accountant for an international manufacturing company for seven years before joining Walker Dunnett. Married to Andy, Isla has two children, Katie and Michael, who keep her busy when she’s not working! But she loves spending time with the family and rooting for the Hibs. Her favourite time of year is the spring (once January is over of course!).
Ian Bruce Personal Tax Supervisor
Ian is responsible for preparing personal and partnership tax returns and helping clients with tax planning. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA). Ian lives in Broughty Ferry with his wife Sue, they have 2 daughters, 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Ian enjoys going on holiday especially to the Canaries, watching Dundee FC, and spending time with his family.
Anna Slaska Payroll Assistant
Anna processes payroll for all our clients and helps with office admin. When not at work Anna enjoys outdoor sports especially skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer. She also likes to spend time with her friends, travel, and read iberoamerican literature. Anna teaches polish in a language school, she is originally from Bialystok in Poland.
