Tom Coull
Tom has been the Financial Services Manager in the Carnoustie office since 1988 building up a portfolio of financial services clients.
Tom lives locally hailing from Arbroath where he was educated at the High School and thereafter at Dundee College.
Having started on a law career and qualifying in a number of legal disciplines through the Law Society of Scotland he changed course to Accountancy and was made a Fellow of the Institute of Company Accountants (FSCA) in 1985. More recently Tom is now a Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (FAIA).
From the mid 1980s Tom has been involved with and concentrated on what is now called Financial Services obtaining recognition as a member of the Institute of Financial Planning (MIFP) in the early 1990s and by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1995.
On the leisure front Tom has a very long involvement with Boys’ Brigade stretching over a period of 40 years from boy through to Company Captain, together with various positions in Angus Battalion. He was also a member of the local Rotary Club for nearly 20 years.
Interested in most sports, he now concentrates on flat green bowling at the Abbey Bowling Club in Arbroath where he was President in 1994.
Tom is married to Kit and has two sons, one a teacher in Glasgow and the other a psychologist in Edinburgh.
